Welland’s Notre Dame school set to celebrate 75 years

When Notre Dame College School in Welland opened its doors in September 1947, it was the only Catholic secondary school servicing the entire area of Niagara.

Alumnus Dan Marshall, class of 1972, remembers students from as far as Fort Erie and Wainfleet being bussed in daily to the Smith Street school.
