April Super Locker Winner

ndcs locker april

So pleased to announce Jose Palma Alfaro as the recipient for our super locker for April! He exudes kindness each and every day! It also gives us a chance to applaud his efforts in giving free English lessons to incoming refugees! Today was a great example as Jose had a chance to visit St. Mary’s Academy in Buffalo, and speak to them about his experiences as a refugee and as a non-English speaker. We are so proud of how you have grown into such an incredible ambassador.

“It’s pretty cool because it really weighs down on you for a while,” Kipp said. “There were a lot of times when I was really unsure what to do so it’s really nice to know it’s over with. It’s nice to just focus on baseball a little bit more.
